Wow. Another month has past since I've made an update. So why not we just jump into it?

Firstly, let's talk about the video that I mentioned before. I am currently drawing each individual frame, and I could say that I am halfway done with that process. After which, I will place all of those frames into Lightworks, and then the video is done. WAHOO! When will it be out? I'm thinking January, but if I ain't being a lazy bastard, I could finish it before New Years Eve. Did I mention that this is supposed to be a video for Halloween? Jeez...

Secondly, I just attended a christmas party yesterday from school. Man, it has been one hell of a time. As an exchange gift, I was given a stuffed toy of Happy from Snow White (Yeah, I know his name, and no, do not know why I remember that). The party is just a bunch of party games rated E for everyone, since teachers still think that high school students should be protected from adult content when about most of the class must have knew about the NSFW content on Tumblr. Oh, what? They deleted all of it? 

Well, that's about it. You come to think that life is not that special when you start writing it down on paper. No wonder why vloggers on youtube clickbait their videos.

Hey, guys! So it has been a month since I've posted a status update, so why not just jump into it?

Firstly, I lost a contest. If you do not know, I joined this event called the HG Wells Short Story competition. Basically, I had to write a story in under 5,000 words, and if you win, you get a cash prize that is worth 1000 pounds! It iss crazy! Unfortunately, I am not that skilled enough, and when the shortlists were announced, my name wasn't there. Welp. 

After crying in the corner for god knows how long, I realized that I should stop being a big pussy about the outcome of the situation and write another story for ANOTHER competition that I would not announce the name of it until I either win or lost.  Speaking of which, writing this update made me think that I am not as good in writing a story as I am complaining about another person's story. Man, it makes you think that you don't have the right to accuse a story as bad if you can't even make a good one of your own. It is kind of ironic when you think about it. 

Secondly, I have exams this month, and if it had not exist, I would have made a halloween special! Yeah... so to tell you the whole story, I was just surfing through the net, when I suddenly got bored from watching the same old minecraft videos and decided to make a script for a spooky-themed video for October 31st. I was just done with page one of the script, and when I was about to make the second, all hell broke lose: Final exams, college entrance exams, and unfinished requirements for school! Man, what a holy trinity to make a religion out of! It is as if school is getting "harder" and that it is preparing us for IRL shit. Oh wait. They are? 

In summary, no matter how much I want to ignore school (unlike some youtube animators), education is still hurting me with its hooked whip until I graduate college. Hell, maybe it won't stop, and education is just going to be replaced with a career that's ever-so demanding. Man, what a cycle that humankind has subjected themselves into. I am Vanilla in the middle of an existential crisis, and I will see you at some point in time. 

Hey, guys. So the last time I made an update, I kind of said that I am doing webcomics and that I am starting a blog. However, I soon realized that I should just stop doing that. I am not getting any people in that page, and a thought tells me that if it isn't going anywhere, might as well stop. 

Youtube is also screwing with me. When I posted that Manuel A Roxas video, it didn't get the same amount of views in the first day as how my old videos used to have. Yes, it might be that youtube is just a small part of the problem, and that the problem lies on how good in quality the video actually is, but if my old superfighters deluxe video, which had a bad resolution and was made with microsoft paint and windows movie maker, had more likes and comments than my newer videos, which were made with better software and looks better in general, then you can't ignore the hypothesis that maybe youtube is promoting old, ugly, and cringey videos into their site. 

So what will happen in the near future? Well, I am thinking of making a new video, about this story that falls under the genre of flash fiction. The upload date for this video is still not certain, but expect a long wait. Again, school is a problem, which means I have some deadlines to meet with my homework. 

I had also made a facebook page that serves as a first step to increasing the traffic of my videos. I will be posting some exclusive book reviews there as well, so if I am too lazy to make a video, I could just write a post over there and avoid the struggle of making and editing a video for every opinion that comes in my mind.

I am also in the works of writing a short story. I am not planning to post them in any of my my social media accounts, but I'll be sure to update on you guys if something ever comes up from that. Again, I will try to post about what has been going on behind the scenes through my newgrounds page, so stay tuned!

Hey, guys! If you haven't guessed, I gave up on youtube and have moved on to other stuff. I have been very unmotivated to create more animations for the past few months and I just kept feeling dissatisfied with the work that I'm producing. In a way, I want to create more in a short amount of time, but I also don't want to lose the quality of my videos. 

But then, I made a decision to make a blog. In that blog, you can see me make some reviews on books and movies that I've just read. I you are not interested in that, I am also doing some webcomics there! the webcomics feature the same art style that I've been using for my past animations, and you can read them here, too! So for now, I'm using my newgrounds account for posting my webcomics and updating you guys on more stuff along the way. If you are interested in my blog, check it out in this link below:

No, I am not, you overdramatic person. I know that I said in an early video that I will be back to making videos, but as you can tell by my latest video, "condiments", I am leaving my zero-punctuation-ish animatics to a more animated video style that leans more to the style of some famous internet animators like the odd1sout or domics (Not that I am copying them or anything. It still feels like a vanillalog video). Keeping that in mind, I find it hard to balance my time when I have to study more often than ever before. Yes, I am homeschool, but if it wasn't clear in my earlier vids, I am in a homeschool PROGRAM. It still functions the same as homeschool, but you are also being graded by people running the said program. So that means if I don't study, I am going to flunk high school. And I know that some of you might say: "Well, go back to your old animatic format! That way, you can save time!". I don't like to go back to my old style. It just feels dull and I can't even watch my old videos the same way again. I am more of a "quality over quantity" guy if you don't know.

So what to expect now? Well, let's just say that my upload schedule is now off the table. I guess you can wait till the christmas season or summer vacation wherein I can finally be free and start getting a mindset to this crappy schedule. But for now, be patient, alright?

Anyway, I want to let you guys know about this "design change" that I am going to add in my next video. It's not that big of a deal. I added a little shading and made the hair a little darker. For the people that are from youtube and are waiting for my next video, I will post a video HERE in a little while. The video will be uploaded to youtube tomorrow because I have to add a little "short" in the beginning. It ain't going to be that different, but I hope you enjoy the first video I will ever upload to newgrounds that wasn't uploaded to youtube.  

Hey, guys. So I just made a newgrounds page. Now, they said that newgrounds is just as irrelevant as myspace (I don't even know what myspace is) but being the one who never heard of this site before, I see that newgrounds is a LOT better than youtube and plus, I get to make this little "posts" wherein I can update on you guys without making a lazy video. YAY! I am still keeping my youtube channel, open. This is just a place to be more social and I might even upload my videos here first before I upload it to youtube... just saying. For now, enjoy some reuploads. I will post some new content soon!
